Kiran Kumar Reddy on August 29, 2013 warned that political parties or governments that fail to honour people's wishes or take the right decisions will be rejected in a democracy. Though expressed in a subtle way, he made some sensational comments and it remains to be seen how the Congress Central leadership reacts. His comments gained significance in the backdrop of the sharp criticism levelled against Congress president Sonia Gandhi that she favoured state division to get a significant number of seats in Telangana in the next general election. While Principle opposition Leader, Chandra Babu Naidu demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh for his failure to run the country effectively. The TDP chief also slammed him for his silence on the Samaikhyandhra agitation going on in coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions. Why are they so impatient? Are they not responsible leaders? Are they not aware of constitutional process? Or is that they are worried about their own political future?
