సీత రావణుడికి ఇంకా ఇలా కర్తవ్యబోధ చేస్తుంది:
"రావణా! నీవు మూఢుడివిరా! రామచంద్రమూర్తి నుండి నన్ను వేరుచేయడం నీకు చేతనవుతుందా? సూర్యుడికి ఎండలా, నేను శ్రీరామచంద్రుడికి "అనన్య"ను. నన్నాయన నుండి వేరుచేయలేవు. భోగభాగ్యాలను ఎరబెట్టి నన్ను మోసగించాలని చూస్తున్నావు. నీవు అవివేకివి. ఎండ సూర్యుడిపైన ఆధారపడ్డప్పటికీ, ఆ ఎండ మూలాన్నే, ఆయన ఉనికి తెలిసి, ఆయన్ను పూజిస్తున్నారు. అట్లే నేనూ రాముడి దానినైనా, ఆయన మీద ఆధారపడ్డ పరతంత్రనైనా, నేనే ఆయన్ను లోకానికెక్కువగా వుపయోగపడేటట్లు చేస్తున్నాను. ఆయన మహిమ లోకమంతా తెలవడం నావల్లనే. నేనులేకపోతే, ఆయన ఉనికేలేదని చెప్పాలి".

(మారీచుడు రావణుడితో "జనకాత్మజ సంబంధంబున రాముండప్రమేయ పురుతేజుండయ్యె" నని చెప్పాడు. అవివేకైన రావణుడికి అది అర్థం కాలేదని సీత గుర్తుచేస్తుందిక్కడ. యాచకులు లేని దాతలు, రోగులు లేని వైద్యులు లేనట్లే, ప్రపంచం లేకపొతే భగవంతుడు లేనేలేడు. ప్రకృతిమూలాన్న తప్ప, భగవంతుడిని తెల్సుకునే మార్గమే లేదు. ఆ భగవంతుడి శక్తే "లక్ష్మి". ఆమే "మాయ". ఆమే "ప్రకృతి". ఆమె ’చిద్విలాసమే’ ప్రపంచం. ప్రపంచం, భగవంతుడు వేరు-వేరు కాదు.  లక్ష్మి అనుగ్రహిస్తేనే ప్రపంచాన్ని దాటుతాం. భగవదనుగ్రహానికి నోచుకుంటాం. ఆమెను వశపర్చుకోవడానికి, నమస్కారమే సాధనం కాని, బలాత్కారం, ధన, విద్యాబలం మాత్రం కానేకాదు. ఎప్పుడెప్పుడు విష్ణువు అవతారమెత్తుతాడో, అప్పుడన్ని సమయాల్లో శ్రీదేవి ఆయనకు సహాయంగా రావాల్సిందే. ఆయన దేవతలందు అవతారమెత్తితే, ఈమె దేవత్వాన్ని ధరిస్తుంది. మనుష్యుల్లో అవతారం ఎత్తితే మనుష్య  స్త్రీగా అవతరిస్తుంది. విష్ణు దేహానికి అనురూపమైన దేహాన్ని ధరిస్తుంది. ఆమె "అనన్య". అంటే, చీకటి-వెలుతురు లాగా అన్యం కాకున్డా వుంటుంది. సూర్యుడు, ఎండ, చంద్రుడు, వెన్నెల, సముద్రం అలల్లా. ఇంతే "జీవాత్మ-పరమాత్మ"ల అనన్యత్వం. జీవుడు "పరమాత్మ" అంశ. ముముక్షువగు బధ్ధ జీవుడు సీతాదేవి శ్రీరాముడి పట్ల ఎటువంటి అభిప్రాయం కల్గి, ప్రవర్తించి, లంకనుండి విముక్తు రాలైందో, అలాగే పరమాత్మ విషయంలో విశ్వాసం వుంచి, ప్రవర్తించి విముక్తుడు కావాలి. కాకపోతే ఎక్కడాకూడా, సీతాదేవి, తానే రాముడనలేదు-రాముడూ సీత తానే అనలేదు.)

“సర్వలోక ప్రసిధ్ధుడు, జగన్నాధుడూ అయిన నాభర్త భుజాన్నే తలదిండుగా చేసుకుని పడుకున్న నేను, పేరూ-ప్రతిష్టాలేని, ఓ అనామకుడిని చేత్తోకూడా తాకను. ఆరంగాలతో వేదం చదివి, సత్యం, సదాచారం కలిగి, సాధుసాంగత్యం చేసి, జీవాత్మ, పరమాత్మ సంబంధం తెల్సిన, బ్రాహ్మణోత్తముడికి, సకల గుణాభిరాముడికి, భూపతికి, తగిన భార్యను నేను. దీంట్లో ఒక్క గుణంకూడా లేనినిన్ను చేత్తో కాదు, కాలితోకూడా తాకను. ఎందుకు భ్రాంతితో నన్ను ఆశిస్తావు? కనీసం నీయోగ్యతెంతో తెలుసుకునే శక్తికూడా నీకులేదే!

(ఆరంగాల వేదం చదవగానే లాభంలేదనే అర్థం వచ్చేటట్లు చెపుతుంది సీత రావణుడికి. సత్యం, శీలం, కలవాడై వుండాలి. రావణుడు వేదాలు చదివినా, సత్య-శీలాలు లేవు. ఆయన శుధ్ధ బ్రాహ్మణుడు కాడు, శుధ్ధ క్షత్రియుడూ కాడు. హనుమంతుడు లంకనుండి తిరిగొచ్చిన తర్వాత, "క్ష్మా విభుదేశుడు"-భూదేవికి, దేవతలకు ఈశుడు-రాముడు, ఆయన్ను రాక్షస బలా-బలాలను గురించి అడిగాడట. జవాబు విన్న రాముడు: "అగ్నిహోత్రాలు-వేదాలూ వున్న వారిని జయించడమెట్లాగా" అని అడుగుతాడు. "దయ, సత్యం, శౌచం" వారికి లేవని చెప్పాడు బదులుగా అంజనేయుడు. "సాధుసాంగత్యం" కూడా లేదన్నాడు. ఇదిలేకపోతే, మిగిలనివన్నీ వృధానే! దుర్జనసాంగత్యం కూడా మానాలి. అప్పుడు ఇదివిన్న రాముడికి ధైర్యం కలిగిందట)

"నీకర్తవయం ఏంటో చెప్తావిను. అడవిలో ఒంటరిగా చిక్కి ఏడుస్తున్న, ఆడ ఏనుగు దగ్గర మగ ఏనుగును విడిచినట్లే, నాభర్తను ఎడబాసి వగస్తున్న నాదగ్గరకు, నామగడిని తెచ్చి విడువు. (తనను తీసుకొనిపోయి రాముడిదగ్గర దింపమని అడగలేదు). అలాచేస్తే నిన్ను "నయమతి" అంటారు, దుర్నీతిపరుడన్న చెడ్డపేరు కూడా పోతుంది. ఇదివరకులా ముందు, ముందు కూడా సుఖంగా రాజ్యం చేయదల్చు కుంటే, క్షణమైనా ఆలస్యం చేయకుండా, శరణాగత వత్సలుడైన శ్రీరాముడికి నన్ను అర్పించు. జీవించి ఈలోకంలో సుఖపడాలన్నా, మరణించి యమకింకరుల చేతిలో నరక బాధలు అనుభవించ వద్దనుకున్నా, నేనుచెప్పినట్లు చేయి. చేయకపోతే రాముడు నిన్ను చంపడం ఖాయం. ఇహ-పర సుఖాలు కావాలనుకున్టే రాముడికి అనుకూలంగా వుండాల్సిందే. నీకు మంచిమాటలు చెప్పేవారెవరూ లంకలోలేరు. నీమేలుకోరి, నీపైనజాలికలిగి, నీవుచెడిపోవడం ఇష్టంలేక నేనేచెప్తున్నాను, విను. రాముడికి అనుకూలుడనై ప్రవర్తిస్తానని మనసులో అనుకున్నా చాలు...వెంటనే నిన్నాయన రక్షిస్తాడు. నీవెంత ఘోరపాపం చేసినా క్షమిస్తాడు. ఆయనకు శత్రువులందూ వాత్సల్యమే....పురుషోత్తముడు. నీతో ఆయన్ను పోల్చుకోకు. ధర్మమే, ధర్మగుణమే భూషణం కలవాడాయన. ధర్మాత్ముడు. నీముఖం చూడగానే నువ్వు క్రూరుడవని ఎట్లా గురుపట్టవచ్చో, ఆయన్ను చూస్తే ధర్మాత్ముడని గుర్తించవచ్చు".


"నిష్ప్రయోజనమైన నీ చెడుబుధ్ధి వదులుకో. రాముడు దయాస్వరూపుడు. మానమే ఆయన ధనం. ఆలస్యం చేయకుండా నన్నాయనకు సమర్పించుకో. నీవూ సేవించు. నీకుమేలుకలుగుతుంది. యముడి ప్రేరణతో నీవు నామాట వినకపోతే, యుద్ధంలో నీచావు ఆయన చేతుల్లో తప్పదు. బ్రహ్మ, శివుడి వరాలు పొందిన నీమీద ఇంద్రుడి వజ్రాయుదం పనిచేయకపోవచ్చు. యమధర్మరాజు కళ్లుకప్పొచ్చు. ఉదాసీనత మాని నామాటలను జాగ్రత్తగా విను. రామచంద్రమూర్తికే కోపం వస్తే, నిన్ను, బ్రహ్మ, రుద్రాదుల వరాలు కాపాడలేవు. ఆయన బాణాలు నిన్ను, నీవంటి వారినందరినీ, క్షణకాలంలో ముక్కలు-ముక్కలు చేసి చీలుస్తాయి. ఆయనకు కోపం రానంతవరకూ, బాణమ్ తీయనంతవరకే నీబ్రతుకు".

"నామాటవినకపోతే, ఇంద్రుడు విడిచిన పిడుగుల్లా, భయంకర ధ్వనితో రామబాణాలు నిన్ను తాకుతాయి. అవి వినకముందే  తెలివితెచ్చుకో. ఓసారి ఆ శబ్దం విని శరణుకోరవచ్చులే అనుకోవద్దు. ఆ శబ్దం నీచెవినపడకముందే, బాణం నీరొమ్ములోకి పోతుంది. నేలకూల్తావు. ఆయన బాణాలెట్లా వస్తాయో తెలియదుకనుక నిన్ను నీవు గొప్పవాడివిగా చెప్పుకుంటున్నావు. మారీచుడికీ, శూర్ఫణకూ తెలుసు వాటిసంగతి. వాళ్లుచెప్పేవుంటారు. నీశరప్రయోగాలు నీటిబిందువులలాంటివి. రాముడివి పిడుగుల్లాంటివి. ఈ తారతమ్యాన్ని అనుభవపూర్వకంగా మున్ముందు తెలుసుకుంటావు. పిడుగులు, ఒకటో రెండో పడి ఆగిపోయినట్లు, రాముడు వూరిబయటనుండి ఒకటో రెండో బాణాలను విడిచి పోతాడనుకోకు. వేగంలో, శక్తిలో పిడుగుల్లాంటివేకాని సంఖ్యలో కాదు. క్రూరసర్పాలు విశాగ్నిని కక్కుతూ, కోరలూడిస్తూ, గుంపులుగా దూరినట్లే, రామలక్ష్మణుల పేర్లు చెక్కబడిన భయంకర బాణాలు లంకలో చొచ్చి రాక్షసులపైన పడితే, చచ్చినవారితో, భయపడి పరిగెత్తేవారితో, లంకంతా అల్లకల్లోలమై పోతుందన్న సంగతి ఆలోచించుకో. "

"రామలక్ష్మణులు విడిచే గ్రద్ద ఈకల బాణాలు, ఈ పట్టణమంతా వ్యాపించి, పీనుగులపెంటలు పెరిగిపోతే, రాక్షసుల ఇళ్లల్లోని స్త్రీల ఏడ్పులు ఆకాశన్నంటుతాయి. కోట్లాది రాక్షస మూకలు గరుత్మంతుడి నోట చిక్కిన పాములసమూహాల్లా మారుతారు. రాముడనే గరుత్మంతుడు, బాణాలనే ముక్కుతో, రాక్షసులనే సర్పాలను చీల్చి చెండాడుతాడు. పాములెన్ని వున్నా గరుత్మంతుడి ముందు గెలవలేవుకదా!".

"ఇంద్రవిరోధైన బలిచక్రవర్తినుండి విష్ణుమూర్తి ఇంద్రస్థానాన్ని వశపర్చుకున్నట్లే, శ్రీరాముడు నీస్వాధీనంలో వున్న నన్ను తీసుకునిపోతాడు. రాముడు ఒంటరివాడుకదా, ఏంచేస్తాడని అనుకోవద్దు. వామనుడూ ఒంటరివాడే. బలపరాక్రమాలు ముఖ్యం కాని, ఒంటరితనం  కాదు. యుద్ధంలో రాముడు నీకు సాటికాదంటివికదా! అట్టహాసంతో వచ్చిన రాక్షసులందరినీ రాముడు చంపిన తర్వాత, ఆయనను ఎదిరించే ధైర్యం లేక, ఒంటరిగా వున్న నన్ను, వంచనతో రామలక్ష్మణులిద్దరూ లేనిసమయంలో ఎత్తుకొచ్చావు. ఇది దొంగ చేసే పని, శూరుడుచేసేది కాదు. ఇట్లాచేసి కూడా ఇంకా శూరుడవని చెప్పుకోవడానికి సిగ్గులేదా? పులులవాసన తగిలి కుక్కలు పరిగెత్తినట్లుగానే, నువ్వూ యుధ్దభూమిలో నిలువలేక పారిపోతావు."

"నీశక్తి, రామలక్ష్మణుల శక్తి బేరీజు వేసుకోకుండా, విరోధం కొనితెచ్చుకున్నావు. నీవు బలహీనుడవు. యుద్ధంలో వాళ్లను ఎదిరించలేవు. ఎదిరిస్తే వాళ్లబాణాల తాకిడికి చస్తావు. నా భర్త త్వరలోనే తనతమ్ముడితో ఇక్కడకు రావడం తధ్యం. నీమీద కోప్పడటమూ తధ్యమే. ఎండాకాలంలోని సూర్యుడు చిన్న గుంటలోని నీళ్లను కిరణాలతో పీల్చివేసినట్లే, నిన్ను ఊర్ధ్వలోకమైన కైలాసంలో దాక్కున్నా, అధోలోకమైన వరుణుడి నగరంలో దాక్కున్నా, పిడుగు చెట్టును పడగొట్టిన రీతిలో పడేయడం కూడా తధ్యం."

The Telangana State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has initiated and implemented a plethora of innovative programmes, schemes and projects that are not done anywhere in the Country or at the Central government. Here are a few…...

·      24-hour uninterrupted power supply to Agriculture Sector…State without power cuts
o   Government of Telangana has decided to accord 24-hour uninterrupted power supply to agriculture and other sectors from First January 2018. It is the only state where there are no power cuts.

·      Rs 8000 per acre for two crops as In-put and investment subsidy
o   The announcement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to give Rs. 8000 per acre at the rate of Rs. 4000 for kharif and Rabi seasons to the farmer will go a long way in developing agriculture sector into a challenging profit-making sector. It is for the first time anywhere in the world a government is giving investment to the farmer.
o   The time has now loomed wherein the decades old exploitation of farmer by middle men is put to an end and confidence infused in them. 

·      Farmers in the organised sector-Coordination Committees known as the Rythu Samanvaya Samithis.
o   Forming the Farmers’ Associations from village level to the state level is a revolutionary step in the country. These coordination committees will monitor right from maintenance of the land records in a transparent way to payment of Rs 8000 per acre towards input subsidy to the farmers.
o   This would help the farmers to get their due MSP for their produce and help them to plan their agriculture product for the better market prices. The Coordination Committees of the farmers will also do the market intervention when the prices are low and buy the produce and sell it later.

·      Irrigation Sector-Rs 25,000 Crore per year in the State’s Annual Budget
o   Nowhere in the country, Irrigation sector has been allocated massive funds in such a large scale as is done in the State’s Annual Budget. This will help the Telangana state to complete several mega, major, medium and small irrigation Projects as well as Lift Irrigation schemes to realise its dream of providing water to One Crore Acres of agriculture land in the State. This will irrigate the entire State with bountiful of yields.
·      Subsidies for Poly houses and Green houses
o   To encourage Horticulture Subsidies on Poly Houses and Green Houses has been substantially increased at the rate of 95% to SC and ST farmers and 75% to other farmers. Limit on the extent has also been enhanced to three acres from one acre.

·      Drip Irrigation-80 to 100 percent subsidy
o   To utilise the water at the optimal level, drip irrigation is encouraged by giving 100% subsidy to SC and ST farmers, 90% to BC, small and marginal farmers and 80% to rest, up to five hectares, which again is the first of its kind in the country.

·      Mission Kakatiya-Revival of 46,000 Tanks
o   To restore past glory of the Telangana Region, which had thousands of chain lakes during the Kakatiya Dynasty, Mission Kakatiya is launched to revive and revitalize 46,000 Tanks in the State one fifth every year. This will help in complete utilization of 265 TMCs of water allocated to Telangana under minor irrigation.

·      Reservations in Market Committees
o   For the first-time reservation Policy is introduced in the market Committees benefitting the poor and marginalised sections in general and women in particular. 29% for BCs, 15% SCs, 6% STs and for women 33% reservations.

·      Free regularisation of Sada Bainamas-11 Lakh
o   To put an end to the Land Litigations and to rectify land records several reforms have been introduced. As part of that, 11,19,111 Sada Bainamas accounting for 15,68,171 survey numbers have been processed for regularization.

·      For every 5000 acres as one Cluster and one Agriculture Extension Officer for each cluster
o   To make Agriculture activity more professional and profitable, every 5000 Acres is treated as a Cluster and one Agriculture Extension Officer for each cluster guides the farmers. This again is first of its kind and nowhere in the country.

·      Rs 6 Lakh ex-gratia for the farmer who committed suicide
o   Through a Cabinet decision of September 2015 Ex-gratia amount for the farmers who have committed suicides has been increased to Rs 6 Lakh which is the highest in the country.

·      For Toddy Tappers and fishermen-Rs 6 lakh Ex-gratia
o   For the Toddy Tappers and Fishermen when either die in accident or become permanently disabled the ex-gratia amount paid is increased to Rs 6 Lakh

·      Rs 5 lakh accidental Life Insurance scheme for Home Guards, Journalists, Construction Labour and drivers
o   State government has created an accident Insurance policy worth Rs 5 Lakh for drivers of Autos, Cabs, Trucks and other vehicles, Working Journalists and Home Guards. The premium for the policy is Rs 46 per year and orders on the matter were issued on Aug 19, 2015.

·      Kalyan Laxmi/Shaadi Mubarak-Rs 75,116 per person
o   These are the days where it becomes very difficult to perform marriage of girl child. Government realizing this, to begin with gave Rs. 51, 000 for girl’s marriage to her parents of all those who are below poverty line and later enhanced to Rs. 75, 116 with effect from March 2017. This is done nowhere in the country.
o   For the differently abled persons the marriage incentive is enhanced from Rs 50,000 to Rs I,00,000.

·      Double Bed Room Houses-Self-respect of the poor
o   To instil self-respect among the poor and enhance their status in the society, Double Bed Room Houses are given to them by the government with no cost to the beneficiary. Till June 2017 a total of 2.66 lakhs of houses are sanctioned for construction. The process of construction is on.

·      Mission Bhagiratha-Safe and pure drinking water for every household
o   To enlarge the drinking water supply, under Mission Bhagiratha each and every household even in the remote habitations will be supplied with pure and clean drinking water. The scheme was formally launched by PM Modi in August 2016. NABARD, HUDCO and 18 other National Banks are funding the project and the state Government provides margin money.
o   The entire scheme is divided in to two phases. In Phase-1 by 2017 end all the 25,000 + habitations will get treated and pure drinking water. In Pahse-2 the internal pipelines will be completed by mid of 2018.

·      Telangana Ku Haritha Haram-230 Crore plants
o   Losing the forest cover led to the vagaries of nature. Global warming became a major issue. Government is very serious about increasing the green cover in the State. To increase the forest Cover and greenery, Under Telangana ku Haritha Haram 230 Crore saplings are being planted. Each Village will get one Plant Nursery and the funds are mobilized from various sources like CAMPA.

·      Samagra Kutumba Survey- Comprehensive Family Survey
o   For the first time in the country, a Comprehensive Household Survey was Conducted in the state to get the actual data on various aspects pertaining to the people. The survey done all over the state on a single day provides socio-economic data of one crore nine lakhs families in the state which is used for implementation of several schemes and projects. This is a national record and finds place in Limca Book of World Records.

·      Offices for Members of Legislative Assembly in their constituencies

·      Special Development Fund of Rs. 3 Crores to each MLA for Constituency Development
o   In order to bring in a total transformation in Telangana and give a face lift to the district administration the Chief Minister announced that Rs 3 crore funds would be placed with each MLA. These constituency development funds of the Legislators will be utilized for the development of their constituency.

·      Monthly Pension for single woman
o   Launched on the occasion of State Formation Day the June 2, 2017, the scheme envisages payment of Rs. 1000 pension per month to all the single women who are above 18 years of age, married and staying away from husbands for more than a year or unmarried single women. This is done only in Telangana. About 1,20,000 get benefit.
·      Monthly pension to Beedi workers
o   Rs 1000 per month pension since March 2015 is being paid to over 4.5 lakh Beedi Workers in the state which is done nowhere in the country.

·      Aasara Pensions to old aged, handicapped, widows, toddy tappers, Aids patients, artists etc.
o   With an objective of helping the deprived and distressed section of people ‘Aasara’ Scheme was launched on Nov 8, 2014. Old Age Pension hiked from Rs 200 per month to Rs 1,000 per month. The old age pension is given to widows, toddy tappers, weavers, aids patients, beedi rollers and aged artists. On an average Rs. 442 crores are being spent on these pensions every month including pension for single women and the number of beneficiaries touches 40 lakhs.

o   Monthly pension of Rs. 1500 for Imams and Mauzams numbering 8934
o   To benefit the minority community particularly those indulged in religious rituals in about 5,000 Muslim worshipping places the remuneration of Imams and Mauzams has been increased from Rs 1000 per month to Rs 1500 per month benefitting 8,934 Imams and Mauzams in the State.

·      Government jobs for 550 Artistes
o   With a view to educate the people on the Government schemes and programs The Samskrutika Saradhi was launched in September 2014. 550 artists who took active participation in the Telangana statehood movement were given government jobs for this purpose.

·      Fine rice for the Hostel students
o   Keeping in view the need for good nutrition among the hostel wards, and to serve better staple diet to the students, Government has been providing fine rice to all the hostel students for mid-day meals. This scheme is being extended to Anganwadis also.  All over the state 32,569 educational institutions and 32,70,370 students benefit through this scheme.

·      Rs 100 Crore for the Advocates Welfare Fund
o   For the lawyers who have played an active role in Telangana movement, the state government has issued orders on March 26, 2015 sanctioning Rs 100 Crore for the Lawyers Welfare Fund. These funds are being used for the welfare of advocates working various courts in the State. The amount is fixed deposited in the banks and the interest is being used for the welfare of Lawyers.

·      Rs 50 Crore for the Journalists’ Welfare
o   Towards journalist welfare During besides budgetary allocation, Rs 3 Lakh is given for performing the marriage of a daughter in the family. Rs.1000 towards scholarship for children. Reservations in residential schools, health cards, free Medical services, 10 crore funds for the construction of a Hitech Journalist Bhavan in Hyderabad, Rs 5 Lakh Insurance etc. are some of the measures. Preference for the Journalists in the allotment of 2 Bed Room Houses.

·      Rs 100 Crore for Brahmins Welfare
o   To benefit the poor Brahman community Telangana government has created a welfare fund for the first time with a sum of 100 crores. The Telangana Brahmin Samkshema Parishath was constituted.

·      Archakas to get salaries on par with government employees
o   To benefit the Archakas to a vast extent government of Telangana has announced salaries on par with government employees with effect from November 2017.

·      542 additional Residential Schools
o   To give a massive boost to educating the young new residential Schools and Colleges were started for the BCs, SCs, STs, Minorities, Most Backward Classes as well as provision for other Poor sections to educate their children. This is the unique initiative of the state government.

·      Overseas scholarship-Increased to Rs 20 Lakh
o   The Government in a unique way has been implementing the overseas scholarship scheme for SC, ST, BC and minority students to pursue higher studies abroad. The same is extended to poor Brahmin students also. The amount given under the scheme is Rs 20 Lakhs.

·      Special Fund for the SCs/STs-Funds should be spent on the SCs and STs only
o   Telangana State Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) Special Development Fund (SDF) will ensure, accelerated development of SCs and STs with emphasis on achieving equality, focusing on economic, educational and human development. A portion of the total Pragathipaddu outlay of the State has been thus earmarked as the outlay of the SCSDF and STSDF of the State. This amount shall be spent on SC and STs only. If any amount of Special Development Fund remains unspent, it will be compensated in the next financial year in the same proportion.

·      Thandas and Gudems to be upgraded to Panchayats
o   Government decided to transform Thandas and Gudems into Gram Panchayats

·      MBC Corporation with Rs 1000 Crore
o   In addition to BC Finance Corporation which is in existence Government constituted the MBC Corporation and the budgetary provision in 2017-18 is Rs 1000 Crores.

·      Sheep distribution with 75 percent subsidy to Yadavas and Kurumas
o   CM formally launched the sheep distribution program on June 20, 2017 which envisages distribution of sheep to Yadavas and Kurumas at an estimated expenditure of Rs 5000 Crores. Each unit costing Rs. 1,25,000 consists of 20 sheep and one Ram. The beneficiary must bear 25% (Rs 31, 250) and the remaining 75% (Rs. 93,750) will be subsidized by the Government. The total number of sheep planned to be distributed is 84 lakhs in 4 lakhs units. This will create a wealth of about Rs 25,000 crores in the next two years to the Yadav and Kuruma Community making them economically strong besides making the state not only self-sufficient in meet production but also making it a meat-exporting State in future.

·      Mobile Veterinary Clinics
o   Mobile Veterinary clinics each costing Rs. 14.65 Lakhs and totalling 100 were launched on September 15, 2017. These are operated through a toll free 1962 number and when called they will reach the spot within 30 minutes.

·      Fish breeding with 100 percent subsidy from the government
o   All the reservoirs, Tanks, Irrigation projects and other water resources will be made into places with Fish Culture. Towards this the Government decided to supply fish seed to the Mudiraj, Besta and other fish breeding communities with cent percent subsidy. Adequate budgetary provision is made for this. An estimated 75 thousand tons of fish would be produced. For Marketing the fish government decided to establish 62 market yards at the rate of two per district.

·      50 percent subsidy on Yarn and Chemicals
o   For the Power loom and Handloom Sector, 50 percent subsidy is given on Yarn and Chemicals besides a host of development and welfare programmes, which will make the sector economically viable and profitable.

·      Rs 1200 crore in the State’s Budget for workers in the weaving sector
o   For the welfare and wellbeing of handloom workers the Government has allotted Rs 1200 crores in the budget. Among other things this would ensure: an assured income of Rs 15,000 to 20,000 to the worker, assured marketing for their products and modernization of power loom sector.

·      Hair Dressing Saloons under the Domestic category in the power consumption
o   To benefit 26000 Hair dressing saloons consuming less than 200 units of power government has decided to charge domestic price. Government has further proposed to accord one lakh financial assistance for setting up of new saloons to 25000 Naayi Brahmins.

·      Transport tax waived for Autos and Tractors
o   Telangana State government has waived the Transport Tax levied on Auto Rickshaws. Tractors used in Agriculture sector are also exempted from this tax. Rs 76 Crore worth dues under the Transport Tax was also waived.

·      30 Percent Pollution allowance for the traffic police
o   The Government has decided to give pollution allowance to the traffic police with which there will be 30 per cent hike in their basic pay

·      30 Percent Risk Allowance for the Security Wing police



·      Wellness centres for the employees and journalists-Health Cards facility
o   Government had setup wellness centres for the benefit pensioners, employees and journalists. 11,35,701 health cards are generated in these centres.

·      25 percent profit sharing to Singareni Collieries employees
o   Singareni is the biggest public limited company in Telangana state. During 2017-18 out of the profits 25% bonus has been announced to benefit Singareni collieries employees.

·      Special Fund for the Army Welfare benefiting ex-army personnel
o   For the first time in the country, a Fund for the Army Welfare is created. Every year, Rs 80 Crore is collected towards this Fund. This Fund will be spent on the welfare of the Army personnel and their families. The Chief Minister and Ministers will contribute Rs 25,000 per year, MLAs, MLCs and MPs will contribute Rs 10,000 each per year towards the Army Welfare Fund. The employees have decided to forgo their one-day wages.

·      Higher wages for the small-time employees
o   Anganwadi Teachers, workers, Municipal workers, VRAs, VAOs, Contract employees, Outsourcing Employees, employees working under the Employment Guarantee Scheme, Asha Workers etc. to get enhanced wages.

·      Rs 15,000 worth KCR Kits for the pregnant woman
o   Aiming at mother and child welfare the pregnant women and lactating mothers and their infants would get KCR Kits worth Rs 15,000 if the delivery takes place in a government hospital. The scheme was formally launched by CM on June 3, 2017. The pregnant woman gets in four instalments Rs 12,000 and in addition after the delivery for the new-born baby a kit known as KCE Kit worth Rs. 2000 with 16 items in it will be given. If the new-born is a baby girl, then Rs 1000 more is given. The kit contains among other things a baby soap, baby oil, bay powder, mosquito curtain, toys, napkins, diapers etc.

·      Mortuary Vehicles
o   Understanding the plight of the poor, the government is providing free vehicle services to take the mortal remains of the dead home from the hospitals. About 50 such Ambulances are in service in the state.

·      TSI Pass—Approvals to industries to be given in 15 days
o   Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System (TS I Pass) an innovative and first of its kind policy in the country came into existence since on Nov 27, 2014 is a single window clearance policy for industrial approvals in the state. Under the policy, all permissions are given within 15 days and a special Chasing centre is formed in the CMO. The government gets all the permissions through TSIPASS to the units.
o   Under the policy, 5000+ units have already got permissions and Rs 1,10,150+ Crore worth investments came to the State generating employment for about 4, 00, 000 people.


·      Number 1 in Income growth rate
o   The Comptroller and Auditor General of India (CAG) report which was made public on March 25, 2017, showed that the Telangana State has registered 17.82 percent growth in revenue. It said the revenue from major taxes like sales tax, excise, and stamps and registration, which contribute 80 percent to the state revenue, too registered 17.82 per cent growth.

·      Number 1 in Solar Power generation
o   Telangana state has gained No.1 status in solar power generation. With the proactive initiatives of the government and the policies introduced by the state could achieve such status.

·      Eradication of the illicit liquor, the Gudumba: rehabilitation of those involved in the business
o   Government of Telangana has taken stringent steps towards eradication of illicit liquor. Required rehabilitation avenues were provided to help those involved in the business.

·      Eradication of playing cards and gambling
o   For the first time Government has taken proactive measures with an iron hand to stop gambling and playing cards.

·      Police Command and Control Centre
o   For better policing and a secured life for the citizens of the state a state of art Police Command and Control centre is coming-up to have over all security control at a single point.

·      Mega textile park at Warangal
o   Government of Telangana has launched a mega textile park at Warangal. There will be qualitative change once the Textile Park at Warangal takes place. Sarees in Surat, Blankets in Sholapur and other accessories in Tirupur which are produced on a large-scale are now proposed to be done in the textile park at Warangal. It will be a garland of these produces.

·      Waiver of power bill dues, water bill dues of the Poor
o   Government has relieved 3,35,165 lakh poor families from the clutches of pending power dues consuming less than 100 units. Rs 455 crore water tax dues pending for the past 15 years were also been waived to benefit the poor consumers. 

·      Purification and updating of the Land records
o   To put a full stop to the endless land litigations and crimes related to them, the government has launched a herculean task of purification/ rectification/ Verification of all the land records in the State. The survey was launched on September 15, 2017 in 10, 806 villages of 568 Mandals and the Phase-I work is completed on 31 December 2018. In the first phase 92% + of the land accounts in the revenue villages is declared clear. The lands that are locked in major disputes will be taken-up in Phase-II. Along with this the State is bringing in reforms in the land registration system to make it more transparent/ easy/ simple and hassle free.

·      Special SHE teams are formed to curtail and control Eve teasing
o   The government has constituted SHE teams in Hyderabad for the protection of rights and dignity of women. Members of SHE team in mufti move around crowded places, markets, near colleges and bus stops and check the crime. It is now proposed to implement the same all over the State after successful experiment in Hyderabad.

·       Special drive to end the Drug-related incidents in the State.
o   The state has geared up to go ahead with more zeal against drugs and adulteration in the State. Directives were given to officials to investigate in depth from all angles. Stringent measures against those supplying drugs and indulging in adulteration are taken.

·      The state is number 1 in maintenance of the Law and Order situation, which is attracting huge investments to the State.
o   The state has become number one in the country in maintaining the law and order situation. Providing the required personnel, and vehicles for the police department, successfully ending playing cards and banning the online rummy, eradicating the sale of illicit liquor and adopting a special action plan on over all control of illegal activities the state is geared up to attract huge investments.

·      The crime rate in the State has decreased considerably
o   With the advanced technological gadgets like CCTVs and other, constant vigil of police personnel and strategic security arrangements crime rate in the state has been decreased considerably.

·      Study Circles for SC/ST/BC
o   Study Circles for SC/ST/BC candidates appearing for the competitive examinations like the UPPSC and TSPSC are established.

·      Pharma City
o   A Pharma city is coming up in 11,000 acres at Mucharla in Rangareddy district.  It will also have a Pharma Research Institute. The Pharma City will function with zero liquid discharge facility. 500 MW power plant will also be set up there. Once the Pharma city is established it will generate employment to nearly 70,000 unemployed youth.

·      Best in IT Industry
o   In the IT exports in the country, the state’s share is 12 per cent and second in the country. The first ever T-Hub is in Hyderabad.

·      Re-organisation of Districts

o   The ten districts in the State have now been re-organized to 31 districts for better administration and to enable fruits of the government’s welfare and development programme reach the needy without fail.
