Athirathram-2012 at Etpaka Village: Vanam Jwala Narasimha Rao


Athirathram the world's oldest surviving 4000-year old fascinating, complex and the greatest Vedic Ritual was performed as per the Vedic Ritual hierarchy from Saturday the 21st April 2012 to Wednesday the 2nd May 2012 at Etpaka Village near Bhadrachalam in AP. 
About 15 Lakhs of people visited the Yajnashala and did Pradakshina during the time. Free Meals was provided to each and every one symbolizing social equality. Seetarama Kalyanam was performed during the time on one of the days at the site witnessed by a lakh of people.
On the last day when Poornahuti was performed the yajnasala was set to fire and lakhs of people did pradakshina at the time.
